30 partners - science festivals, science centres, universities and research organisations - all over Europe contribute to the 2WAYS project. Each partner works in a team with another partner and scientists from the two countries to develop and show presentations of life science research projects.

The 17 2WAYS projects cover a wide range of life science research fields. Each project is based on a European research project or research group, and two science events. Together, scientists and communicators create new presentations and new formats where the public can meet with the researchers and make their voices heard.

The 2WAYS Science Parliaments are meeting-places for students,
scientists and teachers. During 1-2 days, students 17-19 years old,
discuss and decide on life science topics - just the way real
parliaments do, with hearings, committees, proposals and votings, and
final decisions. Two students from each local parliament will
participate in the final European Science Parliament at the 2WAYS Final
Event in Brussels in December 2010.
